Crisis of Consciousness

Crisis of Consciousness

A Poem by Brandon Jursich
"

What can I say mental health can be a cruel seductress

"
Tell me where is up if you think I am always falling down I can't promise you that I will be the same person when you pick me up. Who do you want me to be today , should I please the crowds or should I run away and hide . If you were to ask me what kind of a person I really am , depending when you ask it will always be a different answer . The spirits that dance around inside my head act as judge jury and executioner . If it's so easy to quiet thoughts than I implore you to silence the voices of many. Outweighed the positives and negatives a thousand times , jumped the distance for every conclusion even argued actions by simply guessing the reactions thus shooting my goals right out of the very infinite sky the dog fights take place. Can you see past the masks I wear to just about any occasion . Maybe a better detective could find clues to solve my mysterious identity , you will only drown in a vast sea of personality , alas tis my disorder to bare.
