April Fools

April Fools

A Poem by Angelreads

Life is a game and we're just the pieces,
but this isn't just any game.
No,
Life is a maze.
So many people get trampled,
yet so few even get to the start.

The problem with people is that so many look for the end,
when the prize is right in front of them.
Men cheat, lie, and steal,
for the chance to get to the end,
but they're too blind to see that they passed it at the start.

That's why the poor succeed,
and the rich prosper to their demise.
When your goal is life,
then stop living.
Then, and only then, will you see there was no game to begin with.
