What if I told you that I loved you?

Would you leave me here tonight?

I'm worried about what you might do.

Maybe the timing isn't right.

I'll push my feelings, yeah, hide them away.

How could you feel the same for me?

I'm a monster, it's okay to say.

It's even carved in my arm, you see?

I started this poem today, but I haven't written poetry in 2+ years. I wrote this in like seven minutes, but then I was stumped. I don't know if I am going to finish it.
