AMERICANS HAVE THE RIGHT:A Poem by AngellesaI will never change my mind.I sit and look at all we lost as people jumped out of windows so high.
Wondering what their last thought was as they said goodbye.
My heart it holds those hollow cries.
I hold only disgust for those guys.
Who thought it best to terrorize us from the sky.
I sit and wonder how so many could be pleased.
Just to cause death and misery.
As well as horrible memories.
I am not alone in this thought.
I promise there are millions of us that this haunts.
Now I watch as religious leaders tell us to stay home.
That this is a war not to be fought.
Forgive them, for that is what we are taught.
Then I remember those hollow cries falling from the sky.
My only though about those who yell.
Are you really Americans or are you from Hell.
On the pain from the day we will never forget.
How can you ask us to repent.
We are free, that is our right.
So I damn them.
Get on with the fight.
Bring them down to their knees.
Make them beg and plead.
So years from now our children will be proud.
Free from those horrible memories.
Years from now we will look back and have our strength intact
And we will look at those who yelled and say "Who brought you to tell?"
The heroes from the sky, in buildings and bedsides.
Our emergency crews they came through
with out a clue to their doom.
They lost their lives for no reason at all.
But Americans stood tall.
We gained our peace and right to live.
We fought for freedom and we dug in.
So you go yell and fight your cause.
But do not ask us to pause.
We have something to say.
That freedom is here to stay.
God bless our Heroes here and afar.
Some will die for the fight.
To give you and I this right.
To have something as simple as this verbal fight.
I will end my griping here.
For I have shed so many tears.
And will back my fellow Americans in this fight.
And ignore you that is my right.
God bless America and her Heroes.
They come in many forms.
So do not mess with us be forewarned.
