Nothing Ever Lasts Forever

Nothing Ever Lasts Forever

A Poem by Angel Charles

I was told,
By many people,
All good things come to and end,
And it's true,
Nothing good ever lasts forever.

But in turn,
This also means,
Nothing terrible ever lasts forever,
Most people wouldn't think this,
If so,
Then your glass is half full.

If everyone thought like this,
Then this world would be full of hope,
Full of courage,
Filled with dreams,
But people take it that,
Everything good goes away,
Maybe,
But you'll always find happiness.

The darkness won't last forever,
You just have to take those small steps,
Towards the light,
To see that there is better things in life,
There is an amazing thing in everyone's life,
You just have to live in the now,
Not in the past,
Stop worrying about the future,
And you'll be fine,
Just be yourself.
