Moon Dreams

Moon Dreams

A Poem by Angel Fell
"

A trip into imagination and magic

"

The fairy princess sat and wondered,
Just how the sky was made,
How the stars could shine so bright,
And the moon cast light and shade,
She had heard that is was made of cheese,
But she wasn't sure this was true,
She knew she had to find out herself,
To get closer, a better view,
She climbed into her little boat,
And floated towards the moon,
The sky river was running fast,
She would get there very soon,
As she got closer, she suddenly saw,
A magical, mystical thing,
She stared into the sparkling sky,
And her heart began to sing,
She heard a choir of tiny voices,
She listened from where they came,
They were the wishes of little children,
And each star bared the child's name,
And the moon was not cheese after all,
It was a man with some paint in a cup,
And every time a new star was born,
He painted them gold and lit them up.

Gave a good visual especially at the end

This was really fun to read. If I'm being honest, the flow was off here and there but only in a couple of spots and only be a word or two. And in the fifth line I think that you meant to put"it" instead of "is". But honestly, these things didn't in the least bit take away from the fabulous job you did in composing this piece. It was really wonderful. So imaginative and creative. It had a fairy tale feel to it that keeps your reader interested and hanging on to see what the moon is really made of. I very much so enjoyed it.
