Little Tears

i had to go to college far from home and this poem is about my brother and I the night before i left... The picture for the poem is my little brother... :)

Little tears fill his

eyes as i say good bye,

His sad face makes

me want to break down and cry.

Little hands grab

my fingers

When i leave his

pain will linger.

"Dont leave sissy

i want you to stay"

Those were the words

i didnt want him to say.

" Dont cry Billy, I'll be

back soon,

I'll be back before

you see the moon."

Laying him down on

his little bed,

He wrapped his arms

around my head.

*Promise you wont

forget and stop loving me"

Sorrow in his eyes was the

only thing i could see.

His little eyes began to

close as he fell asleep.

*Dream little billy, dream

of the ocean so deep.

I will never forget you, and

ill love your forever."

Aww billy's so cute! It' so sad to see someone you love go...I too am going off to college far away and leaving my little bro behind so I know how the sister feels. But if her bro cries, doesn't he know that it will be harder for his sis to go?

So sweet!! I makes me think of bringing my kids to school for the first time. It's such a bittersweet feeling watching them grow up. Feeling so proud and yet wishing they would just stay the same. I really like the sentiment. Nice job!!
