I Refuse

I Refuse

A Poem by Angelus Fortitudo

Strike me in the face
I refuse to be weak
I refuse to cry

Kick me in the stomach
Try to make me weak
No, never I stand strong

You crushed me,
Like you would crush someone with a rock
Life faded from my eyes
The last thing I saw,
Was a traitor...

My soul speaks to you
Can you hear my cries now?!
Hear my songs of sorrow

One last gentle touch...
My soul is finally released...
One final tear goodbye...

I actually thought this one was rather interesting. It provided a sense of strength. Strength is something I admire and respect.
