Watching Silently

Watching Silently

A Poem by Angelus Fortitudo

Watching from beind glass walls
Staring silently as they laugh
I pretend to hear nothing,
To feel nothing
But I am really full of sorrow and confusion

Why was it me that had to be tricked.
And teased and betrayed
Did I do something wrong?
Was I a horrible person?

Sitting quietly, staring out a window
Hear the whispers of me on the wind
"She's a goth" said one
"She's suicidal I heard" says another
I stay silent and do nothing

Just let me fade away slowly...
Let me die alone and unremembered
The last things I hear...
Lies...
