What it's like to miss you.

What it's like to miss you.

A Poem by AngelMarie

Miles away
your hate for me
is still potent enough
to tremble my bones
and shake my heartbeat.
Defeated,
it's hardly
a moment before
I choke on memories that mean nothing to you.
The sound of your name
& I break to pieces
But the sound of mine,
is grievous
you spit,
like the letters are diseases
and you need this
this hate
and each moment of forever is a moment that I wait
for you.
Always for you.
Everything is for you.
You may despise my chest
for caging my heart
You may despise my lungs
for letting me breath
But I have always loved you
endlessly
limitlessly
guiltless
I am a slave to the heartbreak you cause
I know you curse me every moment you pause
and remember
my flaws
but I remember yours
and fall
to my knees enthralled by your hateful drawl
and I'll recall
this moment in death
with your name etched
in my last breath.

Author's Note

AngelMarie
rough draft, quickly typed up, had a moment where I couldn't hold it in and out it came. I'll make it better another day.
