Trapped

The worst of times with a monster

She's killed me on the inside
I can no longer be alone.
There is no place I can hide,
She has invaded my home.

Her stupid rules
Keep me bound...
She can be so cruel
I don't want to be found.

My mother is mean!
I feel like I'm stuck.
Trapped in a dream,
But I can't wake up!

She took away my will,
My freedom is breakin'..
My heart feels a chill
Since I was mistaken.

I thought she loved me,
But now I can see
She ignored my plea,
And I will never be free.
