Why Does It Have To be You?

Why Does It Have To be You?

A Poem by Kayla Swaqq Kidd

Why?
Why must I?
Why must I always fall for you?
It's been five years since I first saw you,
And every time I see you again I'm off.
I'm off into a world past my own imagination.
No completely in the doors of crazy,
But close by.
And every time you pass,
I have to be honest,
A small tear almost forms before I look away.

Now what should I do when you look at me?
She I stay or should I flee?
No, it's my life and I shall stand my ground no matter what!
I have to fight, and stop trying to head butt,
Head butt my own needs, blocked out by your face.
Now it's my time to say my own Good Grace.

I really liked this poem. I actually have a friend who is dealing with something like this, and I thought of her when I read this. You are an awesome writer. I could only find one tiny punctuation mistake:
Head butt my own needs, blocked out by your face.
You just forgot the space between the comma and blocked. You are an awesome writer!!!
