gone with the wind

gone with the wind

A Poem by Angel Bird
"

if only ...

"

If only the wind could

- blow away all the pain in this world

- heal all the hurting wounds in flesh

- soothe all the tortured souls

- glue together all the pieces of the many broken hearts

- erase all colors of the skins , and make them all the same

- let richness and greed as much as poorness disappear, and get people to see and believe again in the really important things in life

- fill all the empty stomachs on this planet with food and drink

- make us forget about hate and teach us forgiveness

- clean the air we all -plants -animals and -humans breathe around the globe

- allow all over this world peoples faces to smile in happiness, kid's eyes to shine in wonderment and lover's eyes to sparkle

- .....

If the wind could really create such miracles, then ... I'd pray for high winds to constantly breeze over our all Mother Earth!

It may, the winds of change rearrange the textures of truth. A beadth of spirit rise us up like leaves and tumble the trials of the world up to the heavens of equity.

For this would I too pray and hope the measure of our generality perceptively change upon that winds of, if only... a beautiful sentiment.

And too would I, Angel Bird.

Sombre and touching, even if a little too hopeful...the sentiment is as rigid as human destruction itself...the only way is new relationships, collaboration and organization...and of course consideration, affection and reflection and all that...

Do we hope or do we DO...

Nice! I love the choice of your words here. "Soothe all the tortured souls" is one of my favorites. I like how you started the poem with "If only the wind could..." and named all the stanzas in one line after another. I also love your choice of font. this is above average for sure. talk later.

I can imagine that many people do not like the wind very much, when for instance it comes in the form of a hurricane...
Wind can be gentle and environmentally friendly too. May the wind blow all the sorrows of this world away. Or may we build many windmills so our electricity can be produced entirely friendly to Mother Earth, so that we do not longer have to feel guilty leaving the computer on while writing!
