gone with the wind

gone with the wind

A Poem by Angel Bird
"

if only ...

"

If only the wind could

- blow away all the pain in this world

- heal all the hurting wounds in flesh

- soothe all the tortured souls

- glue together all the pieces of the many broken hearts

- erase all colors of the skins , and make them all the same

- let richness and greed as much as poorness disappear, and get people to see and believe again in the really important things in life

- fill all the empty stomachs on this planet with food and drink

- make us forget about hate and teach us forgiveness

- clean the air we all -plants -animals and -humans breathe around the globe

- allow all over this world peoples faces to smile in happiness, kid's eyes to shine in wonderment and lover's eyes to sparkle

- .....

If the wind could really create such miracles, then ... I'd pray for high winds to constantly breeze over our all Mother Earth!

It may, the winds of change rearrange the textures of truth. A beadth of spirit rise us up like leaves and tumble the trials of the world up to the heavens of equity.

For this would I too pray and hope the measure of our generality perceptively change upon that winds of, if only... a beautiful sentiment.

This is beautiful. The wind does come from God, so perhaps it could . . .

Yes nature is a miracle itself it is to bad that it couldn't spread that gift back to humanity, really stunning piece, I really love it.

"erase all colors of the skins , and make them all the same" - but if we were all the same then where would we be different? I see what you're saying here and oh the idealist in me is singing, but I think I agree more with your sentiments about tolerence and forgiveness. I think a better world would be one in which we could revel in and celebrate our diversity as human beings rather than pointing fingers and discriminating. I think this is what you're going for here, though, isn't it? :-)
