Done Dreaming

I'm done dreaming and only looking at the bright side of stuff, and always being positive.

I always dreamed of being a mom one day. Not anymore. That dream is gone. Done.

This world is too messy, crappy, and more expensive now.

Cars being stolen, cars getting wrecked, prices getting higher, people fighting with each other, nobody wants to work, school shootings, smelling pot everywhere, criminals being set free and pardoned.

Not a place to risk bringing life into.

I might just stay childless, keep working at my job to pay my bills, try to live my life, and try to enjoy my life with family and friends that I already have.

The world is never going to get better. It's just going to keep getting worse. If it does get better one day, good, but not going to keep my hopes up.

It’s a sad state of affairs, but a true assessment in your lines of what life today has become. A struggle for most. The future doesn’t particularly look bright. All we can do is hope for change. Don’t give up on your dreams though.
