Past Family Dogs

so many times I was left out when family dogs passed

All the times my family pets were put to sleep I was never told. 

The first time my first dog, Lady was put down and I wasn't told till the day after. 

The 2nd time My mom's dog, Abby was put down and wasn't told till the day or 2 after.

And now, my grandpa's dog, Suzy. She was put down and wasn't told until a week after. 

I was never able to be by my past dogs side as they drift off to sleep. I loved those dogs and was never able to be by them to the end. I feel terrible and think they might think I didn't love them.

Luckily I still have my dog, Princess still and she lives with me. When it's her time in the way, way future I will be by her side and not miss out. I really hope she lives a very long time. She's my baby, though she loves my boyfriend more then me now.
