So Much Learning

I made this poem for a challenge

So much has happened these past few months.

Love was over.

Friendship was done.

So much heartbreak.

So much grief.

But so much growing up and learning.

I learned so much these past few months.

I learned how to let go.

I learned that it was time to leave

I listened to my heart.

My heart went through so much.

I went through so much.

My heart and I were unloved and uncherished.

We were taken for granted and used.

It took me quite awhile to listen to my heart.

It took awhile to make a right decision.

My heart and I are so much stronger now.

We are a lot smarter about letting certain people in our lives now.

You are welcome anytime heart to take over and make the right decisions for us.

I’m so sorry for putting you through so much heart.
