Because Your Real

I wrote this to my current girlfriend a while ago, thought I would share it <3

She has the smile of an angel and the greenish blue eyes of the morning sky

Her voice is that of a goddess, one that makes you laugh and cry

her looks are Cunning, and her kiss is stunning

that angelic gaze, addicting..

her lips, Intoxicating..

Why would fate place her with someone like me?

what in gods name does she even see?

a broken human being?

a man whos always fleeing?

running from his past like a scared little kid

hideing from everything he fucked up and undid?

no..

she told me today why

apparently from her point of view, im not a bad guy

she see's past all the paranoia, the hurt, the scars of pride

the three most simple words anyone has ever told me almost made me cry..

"because your real.."

and thats all i ever wanted to hear

no longer did i feel like leaning against that bier (Bier: N - A Stand to support a coffin Prior to burial)

she saw me for who i really am, Zachary Thomas Haddox

and that is why i lover her, and she loves me
