Held

Held

A Poem by Aneto

If You will not take the pain
If You let this ache remain
Jesus, for a minute
Will You hold me in it

If You will not end this season
If You hide from me the reason
Here I kneel and bow
Jesus, hold me now

If You bring a need for patience
Waiting watchmen man their stations
Rest my soul in You
Always holding true

God who gives and takes away
Grieving loss, to You I pray
Faith is such a fight
Hold me, Lord, tonight

Feel the fallow field You tilled
Empty yet with sorrows filled
When it's hard to cope
Help me hold out hope
