Don't Make Me Miss YouA Poem by Andy LewisMy mom was hospitalized today
(To the hand that has held me up, throughout these years. My ever watching, guardian angel in the flesh...mom)
My heart stopped, the flush of cold across my breath. I will never know fear as I possess today. My nurturing vine in a world so dry, my foothold on the climb of life. I'm strong because you are stronger. I'm alive because you are giving. Don't make me miss you, I can't bare that. Don't make me miss you, I can't fear that. Don't make me miss you, your my last hope. Don't make me miss you, don't ever let go. -Mommy- © 2015 Andy LewisReviews
