I really do know about this one...ideas?

Off the top of my head

I hold tight to the species that I am.
Merely animal with a knowledge.
My resilience is great.
I have endured and conquered.
I have lost and fallen.
I can learn.
I can teach.
I can lead a stray.
I can lie, cheat, steal.
I can love, give, and heal.
I can be whatever I choose to be.
I am the ultimate killing machine.
I have a touch softer than silk.
I can make life.
I can take it.
I am a poet, an artist.
I am a singer, a musician.
I am a leader and follower.
I am everything.
I am nature with a soul.
I am the trees with a voice.
I am the wind with a song.
I am the sky with a breath.
I have the spark to continue and thrive.
I have the flame to burn it all down...

Normally I don't like writes with overt repetitiveness, but I thought this was a good read. I thinks it need to be read in a certain tone, once you settle on the one that fit's your own ear it works.
