Heroes Die All The TimeA Poem by Andy LewisYou remember the girl...
Do you remember the fist day,the day the world began to fade. The moment that the stars light up and fame was just a word.
In that time we fell to grasps, we faked our own reunion. Our vain when she beckoned to be put to death, the silence of our turning. She wasn't fare, she wasn't clean, she just belonged into the scene. The jealousy that we had felt when her smile had them swooning. The envy and hatred took us from dancing with her choosing. She flattered us all when she had the chance, the moment to be so prideful. but with a glance, a shocking blow her days was truly dreadful. She had to go along the stars. To fizzle out and die alone. Because heroes die all the time. And the world forgets to keep them in mind. -Marilyn.M- © 2015 Andy Lewis |
