Valentines day

A poem a wrote for a girl who never cared.

This Valentines day, all i want is to be there with you.

To see you laugh, to see you smile, because all my feelings are true.

I want to be there to wipe you tears

I want to be there with you, days months and years.

I want to hold you when you afraid

Staying with you, protecting you day by day

 

But I realize, I'm only saying what i want, what about you?

 

Do you want a rose, 2 roses 3?

Maybe some chocolates, especially from me

Do you want a parade, in favor of you?

What about balloons, red or blue?

I'll be the one leading the marching away

What about that, what do you say?

You know if i could, I'd do all this for you

but for now all i can say is, "I love you"

Awe, this was so sweet! Trying to show your devotion through different ways that you feel might impress her or get her attention. The feel and meaning of this day is different for nearly everyone. Some hate it, others don't. I don't mind it, really, but it just doesn't seem as special when you don't have someone to share it with, you know? But love with bring the right person to us one day when we least expect it and we can do all those things described in this piece.
