A poem of love from the grave

A poem of love from the grave

A Poem by Andy

Don't think of me, baby
when I'm gone
life's too short
you must go on.

But if it's in your dreams
while laying sweetly in your bed
you may think you see
yes, it is truly me.

I have come to talk
of how you are
and how I miss you
for I'm not living in darkness.

I have come to walk
beside you and hand in hand
to feel your soft loving squeeze
along the moonlit sand.

I have come to look
upon your beautiful smile
to ease my peace of mind
as I sit and rest awhile.

And in the morning when you awake
a gentle breeze on your face
do not be startled my love
for it is only my lingering kiss.

As you start your day
don't think of me now that I have gone
for life is short
you must go on.
