The grand
country of Rund had been at peace for the entire of its existence, building up
from a cluster of towns and villages through co-operation and sensible decision
making. Even when the land split in to two, The Originale and The Neu, because
of disagreements lost long ago in the sands of time no war or conflict was met.
Rather, the two sets of people lived in harmony, still trading and supporting
each other through good and bad.
That was until the death of the
ruler of The Originale, Shale Gun, died and passed the kingdom onto his son
Tren. Being a man who had grown up without siblings, Tren had always got what
he wanted and decided he wanted to surpass his father by quelling The Neu and
bringing the land once more under one ruling.
Unaware of the travelling
threat, The Neu were unprepared and forced back a mighty long way, losing half
their land to the new tyrant. Eventually, strong holds were set up and a call
to arms was raised, answered by many of The Neu and rebelling Originale.
The war was still young at a
tender age of four months and some parts of the land had been able to ignore
what was hoped to be a quick and quiet battle. Now, these towns and villages of
the neutral zones were slowly being dragged in to conflict and a side had to be
picked. This was just one of many choices individuals had to make in the coming
time, each decision having an impact on how much longer they would live.
