Mind Games

Mind Games

A Poem by Andy Hunter
"

Breakdown of a relationship

"

You’ve blown my mind, screwed with my head

Now feeling good, your ego’s fed

You bleed me dry and slam the door

All I can do is beg for more

You make me feel I don’t belong

I’m never right - You’re never wrong

You treat me like a crazy fool.

And I just let you take it all.

You dish the dirt - always complain

You’re never wrong - guess I’m to blame

So I play it cool and cut some slack

You take it all - give nothing back.

You must always win - things never change

This can’t go on - must break these chains

Don’t want to play your stupid games

Don’t need the scars - Don’t need the pain.

The only love you haves for you

Pity cos I loved you too

I guess it's time that I moved on

We had it all but now it's gone.

There's only so much you can take and then for your own sanity best call it a day. I felt that in your rhymed stanzas. Good job done here Andy Hunter.
