Hold that thought (for now) (Lyrics)

A Poem by Andy Crawford
"

Lyrics for the track "Hold that thought (for now)" by Alternative Rock band Turn off the Sun, in which I write, sing and play Bass.

"

Hold that thought (for now)

Between plastered walls

We leap obstacles

We found the shell of a life worth living

We found fading grace

Smashed dinner plates

You’d better hold that thought for now

Cos I can’t say the right thing

It’s all coming out all wrong

I want you to feel it now like I feel it too

I want you to feel it now like I feel it too

Feel it now like I feel it too

Feel it now like I feel it too

On cold concrete

Where lips compete

To be heard over TV’s screaming

We found common ground

Amongst lost and found

You’d better hold that thought for now

Cos I can’t hear those soft words

They’re coming out all wrong

I want you to feel it now like I feel it too

I want you to feel it now like I feel it too

Feel it now like I feel it too

Feel it now like I feel it too

Between plastered walls

We leap obstacles

We found the shell of, the shell of

Fading grace

Smashed dinner plates

You’d better hold that thought for now

Hm, I do like a good set of lyrics.

we all spit out the wrong thing at times. some more often than most.
