Easy way to do what was Hard Pt.2

Easy way to do what was Hard Pt.2

A Poem by Andrew Nelson Stewart
"

Some thoughts through this week, thinking a lot and sometimes my poems may be random on some topic i don't know what I'm writing about sometimes. I just write with no pause.

"
As the Light turns grey some nights and then pitch black right in the middle of things, gets your attention.

For me, almost felt like staring at the moon through open windows even when it's raining through summer nights. My favorite kind of feeling some kind of feeling that happens rare. No matter how hard I try it feels like I'm counting days instead of age. Surrendering that each weather has it's own patience washing, fading or even in a blink of an eye of what I drew simply in chalk
when I thought the day was going to be long in my eyes.

To simply dream and desire what I wanted to be happy, no matter how hard I tried was like refilling drinks of just missing the little things in life or even Reminiscing how far can one go when the moon passes directly behind all things into its shadow.

Long Nights of a full Moon, picking memories from a shelf that's already been aged for a good wine to get drunk off, I wish I bottled that kiss that lasted a moment where nothing was in a hurry only what was not said.

I find the way you often write fascinating .. the little pauses and gaps are like gasps for air or sighs ... you have a unique style and way of expressing even the minutest of things .. and with just these few things in mind, I would urge you to continue my friend ....................

After 30+ years of technical writing, I was very literal & linear. In 6 years of being at the cafe, I've aspired to be as unhinged as this. I've gone further outside the dots than I was for most of my life but I could never be this "out there". I have the utmost respect & admiration for the mind that can produce this kind of running commentary when cut loose to ramble. Lots of writers do this & are somewhat interesting, but in your case, your imagery pops & your idea flow is compelling & puzzling & lively & easy to follow, even if one doesn't always follow with purpose. This is what I've aspired to do for 6 years at the cafe, to be able to write a storyline without purpose. I figure we're all somewhere on a continuum of abstractness. Some people don't like to read abstract, thinking it's hogwash, & I've had many people harass me becuz I write a complimentary review for someone they cannot follow. For me, the key is in letting go of our need to follow & just feeling however the storyline happens. I hope you got some of that becuz I'm pretty stoned! *wink! wink!* (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
