Short lived

Based on how I view my emotions through thoughts that speak and my conscience knowing how to connect with them.

Wishing I was touched by undiscovered emotions,
motions without waves of the ocean,

Can we be passing glances over one's shoulder or
surpassing eyes with no acknowledgments?


But what can I do,

When a touch of a hand behind a close door was the closest thing,

We had to face the wind of changing.

Thoughtful piece. Reminds me somehow of one of my very first attempts at writing some years ago. Reads similar in a way. Just one question about the first line: i was touch? or maybe touched or touch as a noun?
