She Walks

She Walks

A Poem by Andrian D

She walks through the light of day
With the sun in her hair.
She walks through the dark of night
With the starlight in her eyes.
She walks through the golden dawn
With the dew upon her face.
She walks through misty evenings
Gone without a trace.

She walks through springtime flowers
Caressing every bloom.
She Walks through autumn orchards
Beneath a harvest moon.
She walks through lazy summers
Drowsing in the heat.
She walks through coldest winter
When the cycle is complete.

She walks through silent hallways
Crying for the doomed.
She walks the prisons of our lives
Each locked in private rooms.
She walks through our tormented hearts
To bring us safely home.
She walks with every one of us
So we are not alone.

About
I've wanted to be a writer for many years, but haven't really pushed at it for a while. I've been going through a long period of creative apathy. Hopefully, getting the input of other writers will h.. more..
