Nonsense & NonsensiblitiesA Poem by JohnOde to Mother
Disney princess,
fair hair shining brightly, Golden blonde or ruby red scrubbed and shined and indubitably well-fed, Let fall, thine locks of lust and temptation that the likes of mortal men such as I Can replace instead the missing prince. Know thee this now and know it well, I promise naught but a roof and warmth, no gold or jewels to dance upon your porcelain chest and stride, No throne to sit upon, nor feather bed for you to rest, only a glowing hearth, children running to and fro, at best only love alone, and bid thee well, for I will give you a home.
