You are beautifulA Poem by Andrew RayneNothing is ever going to change that.She said she wasn't made for this world. That she was so enveloped in the tears of her past,
Filled with a galaxy of regret so vast,
You tried to pretend like you didn't know I was watching,
Tragedies don't happen on the bold font that traces the fabrics of scripts,
Trust me, I know an unfinished sentence when I see one. The same way I know an unfinished story
that makes you beautiful;
You belong here. You are made for this world the way
The way you could make flowers bristle with jealousy,
You have a way of setting your eyes ablaze,
I saw so much potential,
There is nothing that isn't beautiful about you. Nothing you do is going to keep your light at bay. You wrap yourself in a curtain of insecurities,
You are beautiful. You are worth it. If I have to rewrite the world in braille
I would start with your skin
I would start with you. I would unlace that mask from your smile,
no matter what. You are beautiful.
