Have Mercy

Have Mercy

A Poem by Andrew Rayne
"

Blessed is the man who can endure temptation.

"

Meditating mouths,

More often than not, always

Speak with illusions.

Tongues move with just grace,

Oh, lily of purity.

Pleasant delusion.

Very beautiful work. The temptation and the anticipation of the moment well captured here. Picturing moments that could be, might be, maybe should not be. Desires being left hanging for now, maybe to be revisited later or to be denied for eternity. I really liked this piece
