One time, Joker had this evil plan that he told Batman all about. Robin wasn’t told the plan but Batman said “Let’s go!” so he went ‘cause that was how things worked. They found his secret lair easily. When they went inside, Harley Quinn was there. Joker was there too. He told Harley to go and do something so she did and Batman told Robin to chase her so she did. Meanwhile, Joker talked more about his plan to Batman and then the two of them had a long boring fight where Batman could have easily killed him but didn’t, even though he knows no matter what happens Joker will always make more big plans. Upstairs, Robin caught up to Harley. She smiled at him with a malicious smirk and big eyes, then went to attack him but slipped and almost fell off a high ledge that was there. Robin caught her and she smiled at him again but this time her smile was not evil because she stopped being evil and fell in love with Robin and became good. Then they ran away together and got married and had lots of kids. The End.

Robin put down his pen and closed his notebook with a sigh. Outside his apartment, the wind swarmed through the curtains with a high pitched cackle. He walked wearily to the open window and pulled it down with a heavy slump. He looked down on the dark night, and felt pidgeonholed in at 30 floors up. He glimpsed his face in the mirror and threw his mask down. A dogeared Polaroid hung limp around the frame, wedged in the wood. Harley Quinn’s demonic, seductive grin, and a dent riddled baseball bat, dripping with blood like thick honey.

“Good night, Harley,” Robin said.

He fell asleep and dreamed again.
