Chapter 5 of Dead World

A bush rustled, waking me up. I panicked. Again, I grabbed my colt and jumped out of the tent. It was a dear. Another damned dear. 

After calming down, I realized I was the first to get up. The sun was just barely coming over the horizon. It was just blue colored clouds. Quickly, I also realized there was a fresh layer of snow that came in, and still more coming. It really was beautiful. 

I wasn't sure when we were going to be leaving this morning, so I went ahead and starting getting my stuff together. But  quickly, the others started getting up.
