should I stop writing

I don't know what to do

Should I keep writing?
Or stop writing?
I don't know what to write about.
I don't know how to get my inspiration back.
What should I do?
What should I write about?
I lost everything to write about.
Will I find it and keep writing?
Or should I just drop everything and stop writing...................forever?
Well I'll just think about it then.

Not sure if this a rhetorical or figurative question but I would say you can stop writing but you can't stop an idea. It plants itself in your head and whether you choose to pick up a pen and write down is the choice you have. So you'll either walk around with a head full of stories, poems and books OR you'll write. ;-)

Well as Sean Conrey once said in a movie called "finding Forrester":
" ....the key to writing is....to write"
Don't think too mutch about what to write about, write first with your heart and then re-write with your head... You need to just sit down and write what comes to you, sometimes just typing can make the most profound works possible.
so NO, don't give up writeing, take a break if you need to, but NEVER quit.

It really is up to yew. If yew stop. But, I know if I gave up writing. Just because I ran out of ideas. I would lose a lot in my life. I don't know if that's how yew feel about writing. But I know I'll miss your poems if yew do quit..

Keep writing. Take notes. I write best poetry driving my car and thinking. Keep a small notebook. Writing is a lifetime adventure. We are always learning. You can't always write poetry and story. Last year I wrote little. This year over 40 new poems and story. Can't force words. Live life and have fun. Words will come with testing life and having fun. Have fun and be safe.

This is a personal choice, but what I can tell you is that we all go through this from time to time. I have been where you are a thousand times, and I've even set down my pen for years at a time, but I always go back, because it is in my soul. The loss of inspiration is tough...I find that when I get in this place, I must think less of global, hugely important topics, and go for the little things. Look on your desk, find an object and write about it. You'll eventually find that in doing this, you are able to relate the mundane to the global. Find your muse again, don't stop.
