If love was air, I would breathe all of my breath for you.

If love was water, I would submerge us in an ocean wider than the sky.

If love was stone, I would build you monuments greater than the pyramids.

If love was fire, I would throw my body into the flames while you stand and watch me burn.

If love was music, I would sing for you every minute of every day.

If love was laughter, I would work to make you laugh always.

If love was the flesh, you would have more than just my heart…

However, love is only love and all I can give you is
