Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Andrew Flisser

I take the blade into my hand
One last chance for my last stand.
One last chance to make it right.
Maybe I'll finally see the light.

I wish i could fly on angels wings
And hear the angels sing.
Its funny now cause i only hear.
The devil whispering in my ear.

I could have changed my fate long ago.
But you reap what you sow.
Now I'm stuck here with no clue.
because of things i didn't do.

I'll deal with the consequences i have learned.
I'll even tell you what i yearned.
I just wanted to make things right.
Instead on angels wings i took flight.
