Steel doors

Steel doors

A Poem by Andrew Flisser

I can try to sort things out.
Finding passion in your words,
I can finally live again.
Me emotions unraveled.
Spilling out on the linoleum tiles.
I feel like i can open up.

In time i can tell anything you want,
Anything you can ask.
But ive been secluded for so long.
Im barricaded behind steel doors.
So let me open the bolts.
Let me slowly swing open.
You'll be surprised in what you find.
