Footprints in the Snow

Footprints in the Snow

A Poem by AndrejPro

As I walk through the rich white snow, all I see is a pair of feet. A pair of feet that engrave upon the ground. They have no destination; no beginning and no end. They only go forward, and into circles. They are an illusion. I treat them as path; a path that I can only trace. I do trace and follow through them, but now I have only drawn myself into the illusion. I now too walk in never-ending circles. I can always leave and embark on my own route. I choose not to, for I helplessly believe that they will lead me to the one who I am searching for. They however don’t. I only continue walking in circles; circles of perpetual desire and despair.
