Fascinate me, hypnotize me
Make me breathe in the rhythm of your voice,
Make me live in the labyrinth of your words
Tell me a story, shut the world out
Show me your gods and your vision
And make me believe
Show me your heaven and hell,
Make me dance with your angels and demons,
Show me who you are
Tell me a story, breathe sense into the world
Lose me in the night of your thoughts,
Buy me with the colored glass beads of your soul
Lullaby me into oblivion
And rock me gently as I sleep through your trance
Tell me a story, feed the world to me in spoonfuls of desire
Let me stand in your worn-out shoes that have trodden the earth,
Let me see the sky through your Picasso eyes
And lend me your arms so I can embrace the dawn
Tell me a story and walk beside me,
So that the sun doesn’t fall
