Unheard

Unheard

A Poem by A. Fiorillo

She whispers oh so softly
Words he can hardly hear
She asks, "When can I see you?"
But his eyes will only stare

Her beauty has him captivated
Numbing his powerful voice
She turns to walk away
Feeling she has no other choice

Glancing over her shoulder
And Into his mysterious eyes
Knowing there is more to say
But it's all cloaked in disguise

And each step that she takes
Leads her Further and further away
His eyes darken in focus
His heart fills with dismay.

Wonder plagues her mind
Her Anxiety endlessly swirls
Her heart pounding and scared
For words have gone unheard

But in his thoughts he spoke to her
While she gracefully walked away
-yes I need to see you
Any time
Any day-

Beautiful. It effortlessly presents itself as a play in your head while you're reading it... if that makes any sense to you haha
