Your absence

Your absence

A Poem by Andrea

in the darkness today i looked for you...for its in the absence of light that i often find you...the coldness of the room begs for your hug... a warm embrace from a gentle love...where do you go when i am lonely... where are you when i need someone to hold me...must i really be the one to always call on you... even with my fame i can only trust few...so if i must i will continue this ritual... and know that any love is residual...the combination of two individuals...who have agreed to a feeling even if its not mutual...a damp clouded feeling that goes away when you get nearer...to let me know that even in darkness i have been looking in a mirror -xoxox
