The Warriors

The Warriors

A Poem by Andrea Rosanna

Fear the warriors once enslaved

Be scared of us because we’re brave

Worn out hands hit the jembe drum

Fear the warriors once enslaved

We stomp so hard our feet are numb

From running on this hellish ground

Fear the warriors once enslaved

Be scared of us because we’re brave.
