Hurricane

Hurricane

A Poem by Andrea Rosanna

Got me hooked

On roses and champagne

I fell hard

Nearly insane

You said you loved me

The exact same

But you changed

Who is to blame?

Once so close

Now disdain

Waisted my time

All in vain

Broke my heart

Gave me pain

On the cold floor

The pieces remain

You trickled in

As a light rain

But left damaged

Like a hurricane.
