childhood love

childhood love

A Poem by Andrea Vargas

There was a time,

when love was overrated,

back  in the day,

when we just flirted and dated,

or remember the times,

when love made no sense,

just three words of no substance,

thats when life was simple,

nothing to worry about,

just silly children,

who could live with doubt..

loved it. so true, the innocence of childhood is long lost, the act of touching lips, back when it meant nothing more than friendship... but suddenly it means you're easy, or a tease.
i love you drea.
