Strangled Voice

Strangled Voice

A Poem by Andrea Vargas

Ther hands hold me,

in an unbreakable grasp,

tightening there hold,

for they fear,

the words i struggle to unfold

The passion i feel,

for the ones they kill,

is a power so great,

they just cant wait

          SO...

Tighter and tighter they go,

as i struggle to release my soul,

as i come to my last breath,

they succumb to there tears,

as i send my spirit on,

they now fear all mirriors,

for it was there choice,

that strangled my voice..
