Trapped Inside

Trapped Inside

A Poem by Andrea Vargas

No one has insight on who I truly am,

its impossible to breathe,

theres words thrown at me,

it becomes my drowning sea,

I've lost the will to fight,

instead I cower in a corner,

holding my knees ever so tight,

I only want to be free,

to have the power to just be me,

instead i've lost life,

drowning in this chaotic sea.
