Unstable

Unstable

A Poem by Andre Waters II

Don't look back now.
I needed you, you let me down
This is what came around
From what I sent, all through this town
I'm unstable, keep my feet on the ground.

Sincerely, what is there for you and me?
I dreamt of this once, when there was a chance to be.
I woke up. No more dreaming on eternity,
Internally, I scattered my brain in uncertainty.
promised not to find myself swimming in your lungs again,
sadly I find myself back where I saw it all begin
Only now, I wish for the quicker it ends.

I guess it's what you don't know you do,
Or what you do and don't know.
Either way, I don't wanna play fool,
So bad, I wish I could go,
But I trapped myself here, swimming the pool.
I allowed my mind to slip, and now it's my foe.
If only you see the trouble you cause.
It splatters on the walls,
In foolish hearts and decorated halls.
I sincerely hope you know this trouble.
It's not safe, what you do. It's a toxic bubble,
And once it pops, a whole radius at stake
Conflicts may double, virgin eyes are not safe.

From what I sent all through this town,
This is what came around,
so unstable, my feet have left the ground.
I warned you, but like before, you let me down.
I dreamt once, so why look back now?

I've used warning signs, focal points and makeshift gauges. I've moved further than I ever thought I could, but I'm still missing a lot more than I thought I would. That doesn't stop me from moving cl.. more..
