Hills And SkylinesA Poem by Andre Waters IISo much raw emotion came out of me, and I had to let it out. It ate at me for weeks, but here ya go.
I'm showing you the pain I felt through love
Cause someone showed me the same. Now they're in the sky above I want to tell you How I cope with life Should I tell you You could fit a place in my life Old soul, so young and getting younger Wintertime cold, burning snowed under The company I don't have But for yours, I'll ask Give you mine in return So many faces unmasked In a personality that I yearn for To learn, of course But I'm unsure If you're as confident in me As I want to be in you. We haven't seen a good night while it was still young You won't have a better time than when you're living young so while we're here, ditch our fears Hold my hand, shall we dance The hills have eyes and they're breaking my ties No lies but I'm still wondering what am I hiding? I gotta give it to you I got a feeling for you Whenever you come around My sounds are mute to you Cat got my tongue Something I'd hope you say Slowly forgetting to breathe Why am I feeling this way I'm done playing around Don't lose out on just us days The hills have eyes They're cutting through my ties Ties that knotted from a long time It's why I'm showing you the pain I felt through love How someone showed me the same Now they're in the sky above. © 2017 Andre Waters IIAuthor's Note
